Pros
- Can be flexible - Good base Salary (depending on your role as not everyone gets commissions) = Working with the biggest/high profile companies out there - Very old established company - EMEA becoming more independent from the main USA head office
Cons
- Very unclear progression plans for employees outside of sales - Office based in Shoreditch (this is subjective) - Salary increase over time is not competitive - Most pros and cons depend on who's your manager, as each manager has their own way of managing their respective teams and this will affect work life balance - The worst recruitment experience of my life (the recruiter at Monotype UK is objectively really bad at their job), the only reason I accepted the job was that the people I was going to work with seemed competent - Only 25 days (plus bank holidays) off per year (does not increase over length of service), which is not competitive
