Pros
Moogsoft is in the forefront of its niche founded by the founders of that niche. As such, Moogsoft leverages the energy of a startup backed up by decades of lessons learned by its senior leadership. There is a high level of trust and care among peers and with management. The culture recognizes "talent" within and without the job description, enabling endless avenues for creativity. Awesome first line management (in my case) that understands one of its primary roles is to enable the "minions" to get their work done.
Cons
The CONS are really the flipside of the PROS. Specifically, you have to put your "big boy pants" on as with a start up it is 1) Difficult to disengage from work to home as the work is both demanding and interesting 2) You need to own tasks and sometime build what is already established in older, established company.
