Very nice people with comfortable work environment

Stressful with not very clear instructions

I was initially impressed with Mortgage Pros when they brought me in and I attended their training class. The instructor was excellent—very knowledgeable, engaging, and effective in preparing us for the licensing exam. Thanks to that solid foundation, I passed my exam without issue.

However, things took a disappointing turn once I entered the next phase, a coaching program known as “The Pit.” Unfortunately, the experience there was completely different. The manager of The Pit is a micromanager who frequently uses foul language and demonstrates an unprofessional and demoralizing leadership style. His coaching approach was not only ineffective but also toxic and disrespectful. I genuinely wanted to grow and succeed in this business, but the hostile and unprofessional environment made it impossible. I couldn’t last more than a week in The Pit due to the lack of proper leadership and the overall negative atmosphere. It’s unfortunate because the company has potential and the training started off strong. But unless there are serious changes in how new agents are coached and treated, I wouldn’t recommend this path to others.
