Morton Buildings can be a great place to work with good management which unfortunately currently they do not have. Great Benefits, Employee owned company, Great co workers.
Cons
Terrible Manager at Shipping Plant. Employee owned does not really mean anything because employees have no say in anything. Employees are not respected or valued at all by shipping plant manager. Employees are told to find a new job if you do not like it and employees are constantly talked down to and if anyone puts in a 2 week notice they are fired. Safety is supposed be very important with daily safety meetings which a manager never participates in and who rarely leaves office. There has been a couple safety issues reported where nothing was done and employees were told to find a new job if they did not feel safe. We have lost a few good employees including supervisors because of how a manager treats people.
