      Pros

      They offer excellent Entry-Level and Mid-Level web development opportunities. I was astonished by how much I was able to learn in a couple of months thanks to them. They provide good compensation, insurance, and retirement benefits. The other developers gladly answer questions and offer help. Virtually all of the staff know how to have some fun during the work day. -Colorful, welcoming, and relaxed environment -Large desks allow for creative PC setups -Free snacks -Kitchen area for making a variety of meals -Fun company-sponsored events -Nerf Guns (for additional fun, and the occasional prank) -Lots of stuffed-animal mascots for the various projects -Developers celebrate each-others' success

      If you're fresh out of school and desperate for experience, this might be a great place for you.

      Cons

      Nonexistent onboarding, very little training for new employees. Passive aggressive management with awful communication skills. Interview was a joke. They're just looking for bodies to fill chairs. Favoritism. Lack of benefits, pay is average. Professionals, avoid. Nothing you build here will be good portfolio material, working environment is like a kindergarden. Racist and homophobic remarks. If you want to grow as a developer, this is not the place for you. This is a place you go to stagnate and build turn and burn garbage for mediocre pay. Value yourself and your time more than this.

      We are sorry that this person felt that way. MoTech provides an excellent working environment and culture, with very good benefits. Unfortunately, this individual was doing work that was subpar to what was expected and was informed of that, which they did not appreciate. Management tried to work with this individual, but there was a difference of opinion on how work was to be completed and ultimately we parted ways. Sometimes things just don’t work out they way you had intended and this was one of those cases.
