Pros

benefits, location, salary, PTO, FSA

Cons

Extremely high turnover, no work-life balance, a lot of politics, very unhealthy work environment, you work 80 hrs a week and still won't be appreciated here. The company is full of unreasonable people who like to push requests without actual technical knowledge. Projects here are rather top-down driven, without actual impact, planning and professionalism. People don't listen to the common sense and resistant to build scalable processes. Discriminative and rude attitude based on the seniority and favoritism. Projects get thrown at you to show off in front of the top, without any baseline for success. Instead of creating scalable processes people drag you back to the manual way of doing things. A lot of micromanagement. Oh, wait, lunch they say? The only reason they provide lunch in the office is that you don't have time for the actual lunch. Meetings are booked over your lunch time. Forget about 1-hour lunch, you don't even get 30 min lunch - isn't this illegal? No wonder people are fainting at work and every other employee has health issues. If you hear anyone say they worked here 9 months or 1 year - at KT it's like cat years. It’s no surprise when people resign within three months after joining. Those who stay over 2 years just have nowhere else to go, so you end up working with incompetent people who have no actual expertise.

Pros

Strong people and culture. Genuinely good colleagues, a collaborative environment, and a place where talented people want to do good work. After many years here, the quality of the people is the thing I'd point to first. Real mission and real product. The work matters — building technology that has a tangible safety impact in the physical world. That gives the work a sense of purpose that's hard to find elsewhere.

Cons

Leadership and organizational clarity could be stronger. As the company has grown, clearer direction, more consistent decision-making, and steadier organizational structure would help people do their best work. Uncertainty. Periods of structural and strategic change can create a sense of instability that's tiring over time, even for people who are otherwise very committed to the company.
