      Trying to stay innovative and competitive, and modernize the organization structure , IT, and the working environment (processes and tools) to move fast and be more agile, responsive, and customer-focused. Efforts to hire more new/younger engineers (millenials) seems to have increased

      Cons

      Restructuring efforts and relocating headquarters to downtown Chicago is causing management to be more command-and-control, and employees to feel less engaged, and more concerned about looming reductions that keep happening quarter after quarter.

      Amazing internship culture! Everyone is super supportive and nice. The internship program is also very well-organized. Great WLB as well.

      Pros

      I highly value the autonomy I am given to manage my own workload, and I thoroughly enjoy collaborating with several of my talented colleagues.

      Cons

      That independence comes at a cost. The company is incredibly disorganized and siloed. Management will force lateral moves on you without asking; I've ended up balancing four different roles with absolutely no pay increase. Requests for fair compensation compared to the peers I trained were completely ignored. Territories change constantly, but zero training is provided. You are essentially left entirely on your own to figure it out.

      Thanks for your review. We regularly review employee compensation to make sure it is competitive with local market practices in the industries and countries where we operate. Additionally, all Motorola Solutions employees participate in an annual incentive plan or a sales incentive plan. That said, we appreciate your feedback and have made a note of it.
