Pros

Some of the students are easy and pleasant to deal with.

Cons

This is one of the worst mistakes I've had in my career. I've heard red flags about the management of this school but I still accepted their job offer because I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. They seem to always hire employees en masse every two years. The first two months was okay but slowly, you can see the cracks. The management loves to micro-manage their employees. The worst part is the lack of professionalism. They won't hesitate to bully or humiliate their employees in meetings or in front of students. Their lack of preparation becomes your own emergency. You will never run out of tasks if you get hired here. When I was employed there, I never had a full lunch hour due to all the work. I was assigned tasks that is not in my scope, which is typical. They assign substitions without a warning and without thinking that you have other tasks to complete. This institution is not worth all the stress you will surely encounter.

Pros

MI provides a strong foundation for professional growth, starting with an intensive onboarding program that prepares new teachers well for the academic year. The school maintains consistent annual training sessions, ensuring that employees continue to develop their skills and stay aligned with school goals. Leadership opportunities are not limited to senior employees because teachers who are willing to take initiative are encouraged to step into leadership roles and contribute meaningfully. There is also a collaborative culture within and across departments, which allows for the exchange of ideas and shared learning. Efforts and good performance are acknowledged, creating an environment where teachers feel seen and supported in their professional development.

Cons

Workload can be overwhelming at times, especially during peak seasons when there are events. Effective time management and the ability to prioritize resources are important in order to adapt to the pace and expectations.
