I loved working at MIM. It was a fun working environment and the clients are amazing. The employee training is thorough and ongoing and taken very seriously. They expect trainers to be very knowledgeable and professional and hold employees to high standards. If their core values honestly resonate with you, then you will likely be a good fit. They genuinely believe in and live their core values.

I would say the downsides are common to small businesses and the training world in general: benefits aren’t great, busiest times are early morning or evening after work, pay caps out at your schedule capacity. I have nothing bad to say about MIM though. I loved it and only left because of life circumstances.

Solid methodology / training program, clients were wonderful to work with

Very high expectations in terms of skills and knowledge, but very low pay. Initial on the job training was great, but then took a sharp decline. Management struggled to give constructive criticism in any way that was helpful to my development. Expect split shifts (most people train in the mornings and evenings). You will also be expected to attend and take part in company events unpaid. Management encouraged a strange culture of cliques - great if you make it into the inner circle, not so much if you don't. Honestly MIM soured me on the whole fitness industry - when I left I never looked back.
