Pros
Musco is adaptable, everchanging, welcoming and overall a decent starting location. It can get you in the door to other companies that require 3-5 years of experience. It also can allow you to learn on your own, and make a name for yourself if you got what it takes.
Cons
Musco was still experiencing growing pains from when it switched from metal halide lamps to LEDs. While this switch allowed a boost in sales, the company has not spent enough to support the rest of its processes. Disorganization and a lack of commutation between essential departments lead to lots of frustration and time lost. From my time there, be prepared to take on several different roles, while being paid for the lowest role you serve. Expect raises over a 10 year span to be equal to inflation. Be ready to learn 98% on your own, because there is no beginners explanation to software, hardware, and processes that the company has used over 20 years. Expect that "profit sharing" will be a reasonable excuse to expedite a project before its ready to be released.
