Challenging and Rewarding - Scheduling Supervisor Music Connects Employee Review

I agree with the first reviewer, they took time to train me and always checked to make sure I had all the tools I needed to do my job. I worked the company over 1 year ago, and when I looking for a new job recently, I noticed their job posting and it reminded me to post my experience at the company. The manager was very nice, kind and personable. Even though there was big pressure for traffic, as with any news website, I was not made to feel like I was writing only for traffic. They requested for me to write on music topics as well as hot topics. I moved on to another job from a more established company with benefits that I really needed. I was sad to go because I knew that the outlook of the company was bright. I regularly read musictimes.com for the latest music news now!

When I was at the company, it was less than 1 year old, and there were no benefits. I had some personal health issues and really needed to find a company that had health benefits. I remember that the manager said that the company really wanted to give health benefits soon. There was not much structure since the company was small, but I assume that it was a work in progress!

They took the time to train me, flexible work environment, gave constructive criticism, they were always very supportive and kept things positive. Offer a lot of freedom and flexibility that is hard to find with other jobs/companies. I really enjoyed my time with working with Music Connects.

It's a start up so they didn't have all the resources bigger companies have, but they are growing and it sounds like they will be providing employees with more soon.
