Messy Management & Entitled Customers - Customer Service Representative MyClean Employee Review

Pros

The co-workers I had were genuinely good people who worked hard and were good to hang out with. Pay was decent/good for the position, compared to other companies. Cleaners were employed as W2 workers, not independent contractors, which is not the industry norm, and is much better for the cleaners.

Cons

Upper management is super messy - daily meetings where we would have to attend, and listen to whatever the CEO wanted to talk about that day. System updates with no warning and no imput from those who worked with them everyday, and thus FULL of glitches. Entitled clients who could/would scream abuse on the phone - could never transfer to a supervisor. Confusing/no guidelines in some cases. Not much room for advancement or moving up.

Pros

- Small close knit team and that allows you to make a greater difference than at a larger company. - Company culture focuses on people and doing right by them (clients, cs staff, marketing team, cleaning staff, etc.). - Marketing / Bus Dev Team is small which gives you a lot of ability to make a difference. - CEO is always willing to sit down with you to hear new idea's and will implement if he likes them. - Company is growing and there are opportunities for new responsibility, travel, etc. - Day to day schedule is pretty flexible.

Cons

- You're forced to do more with less. This is also a 'Pro' in many ways but results are often compared to the results and campaigns of well funded companies who get to do a lot of things we do not. - CEO is very ROI focused on each dollar he approves our marketing department to spend and at times this prevents us from doing campaigns that may help the brand. - There are not enough team building events (meetings, times we all go out together, etc.). - Technology changes are slow to implement.
