Pros

- friendly place to work - good location around Old St/Shoreditch - free daily fruit, coffee machine etc - regular social events paid for by company - Some work from home allowed, although always feels begrudging like the company is suspicious of it, yet senior management and head of departments think nothing of it when they do themselves

Cons

- not enough accountability when things go wrong - endless technical backlog - always lots of open vacancies which suggests not the most attractive place to work at present - a lot of bureaucracy, you would imagine an online business to me more nimble - a few arrogant people in the business who are counter productive - usual office cliques/groups

Thank you for your review. We are always looking at ways to improve our Employees' experience and encourage employee feedback. We had a large recruitment drive in 2017 to add additional heads into many teams to work towards our expansion plans; this is why a number of roles were advertised at the same tine. We have invested in additional heads to the tech teams to address the technical backlog

Pros

1. The work load 2. Non management people

Cons

1. The higher management do not care about anything other than the corporate overlords. Everything is covered in red tape and it takes ages to be heard (and then ignored). 2. The pay compared to other companies is low and pay increases are barely ever in line with inflation. 3. Corporate management keeps you in the dark. Redundancies are announced out of the blue. Everybody I know works without any kind of future prospect with the company. Unless you are higher up, you don't know anything. 4. Employee retention is just not a thing. If you don't like something, they will find someone who does. Unhappy about not getting a bonus? Be thankful you have a job. In fact, the ex HR director was seen smiling and grinning as around 40 decent people were made redundant.
