Pros

When I think back on my career at Molnlycke, I feel an overwhelming sense of pride and gratitude. It wasn’t just a job, it was a chapter of my life that shaped me as a professional and as a person. I joined Molnlycke with high hopes, but I could never have imagined the growth, relationships, and sense of purpose I would gain. From day one, I was welcomed by a team of passionate, mission-driven people who believed deeply in improving lives through innovation. We weren’t just selling products; we were delivering solutions that made a real difference for patients and caregivers every single day. One of my favorite parts of working at Molnlycke was the trust and autonomy I was given to lead projects that mattered and teams that mattered. Leadership didn’t just listen to ideas, they encouraged them, challenged me to think bigger, and gave me the resources to make them happen. That level of empowerment built my confidence in ways I will carry with me forever. It was also a place where success was shared. Wins were celebrated, challenges were faced together, and the bonds I built with colleagues felt more like friendships than work relationships. Some of my proudest career moments happened within those walls, and I’ll always be grateful for the people who stood beside me. Leaving Molnlycke was bittersweet because it was truly more than a workplace, it was a family. I will always be proud to say I was part of a company that lived its mission every day and invested so deeply in the people behind it. They are in good hands with the new leadership of Dwight Thomas. I wish I had the opportunity to work longer under his leadership. **Advice to Management:** Keep fostering the trust, collaboration, and shared sense of purpose that make Molnlycke so special. It’s the people and culture that set you apart.

Cons

Molnlycke sits in an interesting middle space, big enough to compete with major players, but still small enough to maintain a close-knit culture. That’s a strength, but it also means navigating a competitive landscape where large companies are frequently acquiring and consolidating. While Molnlycke has had fewer acquisitions in the U.S. market recently, staying proactive in U.S. growth strategies will be important to keep pace.

Pros

Great company, respected historical background with amazing products that sell on quality and brand recognition. Some amazing sales people who are passionate, respected by customers and have been there for decades. Surgical and many other shared functions have some honest, managers. Work life balance has its ups and downs but mostly good. That was a relief.

Cons

Politics, promotion and awards depend on whom you know or have a right internal Promoter, racism at several levels and many colored people get laid off despite hard work and performance not only in Norcross but Maine and opportunity at global is a rarity if you are anything but white. Stay away from toxic, messy Wound care business - period. It has been convoluted from years. Top layer is full of old-school white club but I heard they making some changes. They may claim diversity but one look at global teams and regional LT in US and you get the facts. Middle level is rampant of such examples of letting go at manager’s discretions and whims. Lower pay than industry.
