Pros

Help was always available There was freedom to be subjective about the work Management had my back Diverse employees and managers Recognition for hard work and initiative VERY supportive of a work/life balance (this was imperative as a new parent) Very little micro-managing, if any Generous benefits and paid time off (without having to use leave, as a thank-you from the director) There are many, many more. Also, I can tell you from first-hand experience, the author of the long-winded negative review would not be a good candidate in most positions. That person was argumentative, condescending, and arrogant. When you think you know more than the management and staff who have been at a company for decades, it really just speak to what kind of mindset you have. That former employee refused to be coached, and took any constructive criticism as a direct and personal attack, even claiming their race was the reason. It was not. This person had worked for NACCAS once before, left abruptly (burned bridges, in my opinion), and then came back and asked to please be allowed to return. Later, they left in the same inconsiderate fashion, leaving a lot of work unexpectedly for other employees to complete. If you are reading this and the other reviews for this company, I applaud you for wanting to know how employees really felt and how management really treated the staff. But you should apply, interview, and find out for yourself. It's a great place to work and I was sad to leave.

Cons

As an analyst, there is not much room for advancement. But that is still a great position and if it were not for my unforeseen circumstances, I would still be there in that role. I would say this is a good role for a 3+ year position, maybe more if you're happy with it, unless you want to advance quickly. But there is good experience to be had there.

-Executive Director withheld bonuses/raises for 9 months with no word as to why, how is that ethical? I'm sure some people complained to the commission, but nothing was done. -Low pay, that's probably why they pay for health insurance -HR manager literally died in her office, you could tell upper management did not care at all.
