Great agency, pity that management does not match the working staff. - Scientist NCI Agency Employee Review

Pros

A sense that one can make a difference, the work done at NATO is often significant, even if the finish line seems far away most of the time.

Cons

My advice is to work a max of three years for this agency. After one year one realizes that the many lovely management words spoken are just that; words. After two years one realizes that the place is run by middle and middle-higher management. After three years one starts to doubt the ethics of these management levels and disillusion sets in. I make a special mention here for the job the agency did fot IFOR, SFOR, KFOR and ISAF, that was very good work. BTW, those theatres were close to never ever visited by management (except for the GM who wanted to show that operational theatres were a priority), probably the reason why STC/NC3A/NCIA did such a good job there.

Dear Sir/Madam, Thank you for sharing your concerns. We have taken note of them. It is important to remember that the Agency – as part of NATO – has an important mission, to protect the Alliance’s nearly 1 billion citizens. We all contribute to the success of this mission. With this in mind, the Agency’s leadership greatly appreciate the efforts of all our staff members, regardless of their grade. NCI Agency Talent Management Team
