* You get to work on some interesting problems that are hard to find in the other parts of the tech industry. * The company has a very stable foundation and will be financially okay at least for next coming 10 years
Cons
* Poor work/life balance. You will be working late hours a lot. * Not competitive payment * Broken employee review&compensation system. Your raise and promotion will not be based on your performance, but will rather be related to whether you are working with a leader who went to the same school as the upper management.
