Pros
Good pay and very little management experience in the jobs they have so you can do 50% of the work and talk about it like it's a full time job and they will usually believe you. Great experience in Oil and Gas and when times are not as lean you can travel a lot on the company's dime.
Cons
Management team has been promoted over the last decade based on who they know, not actual performance. Politics is more prized than performance. Making decisions means making someone disappointed so very little decisions are made. Keep your head down.
