Pros
-The technical work isn't too complex -Comfortable office, stocked kitchen, great work space -Nice corporate events -Generous 401k match
Cons
-You will be micromanaged! Not just you, every level of the business is micromanaged by the level above it. -It's a vertical, opaque organization. Analysts are excluded from meetings where strategy is being discussed and generally kept in the dark. (Despite being a core part of the business) -Most analysts are hourly not salaried. So you're not allowed to adjust your schedule without prior approval. But you will be forced to work overtime without any prior notice. -Low pay. -Outdated computers and systems. Clunky Dell computers and paper timesheets. -Not much room for technical growth. They use drag/drop Access databases, so there's not much opportunity to develop as a programmer. [Not really a con, depending on your career goals]
