Pros
Possible you could gain a couple of true friendships there and get all the knowledge you can so when you finally decide to leave you will be able to put on your resume what you learned and get the good job and the good pay you deserved.
Cons
Like my title said your job duties will exceed your pay, a lot of people can agree with me on this one. I was able to do 4 roles and so underpaid! When you start talking to your peers and learn that they got a raise or a promotion and your doing more work than them is pretty discouraging. I honestly believe the manager their is prejudice against women of color, and please don’t have a family. You will feel so frowned upon! The only people that got a promotion or raise was a Caucasian, male, or they had no kids. One thing to remember as your employee rights is when they try to put more duties on you than what your were hired for, you have every right to say no. Always remember your rights when it comes to the California equal pay act which prohibits an employer from paying any of its employees wage rates that are less than what it pays employees of the opposite sex, or of another race, or of another ethnicity for substantially similar work, when viewed as a composite of skill, effort, and responsibility, and performed under similar working condition.
