Good environment working at the NSSC. You’ll network with a lot of people and learn a good bit about the daily ins and outs of the system used. Flexible time and able to work remote when needed.
Cons
Promotion ladder is not well defined. Seems like they give promotions as more of a “please stay here” tool. If a promotion opportunity arises where they are seeking a tier 2, they will hire outside and not promote from within. Over all IT management is poor.
