Pros

Provided accommodation at a subsidised price

Cons

This is an extremely predatory business model that entices young women to put themselves in vulnerable situations and then systematically exploits them. Lacking financial transparency - paid below mininum wage, frequently transferred pay checks late, and did not pay final salary or reimburse the deposit for the accommodation. No support - despite hiring several young girls without previous nannying experience and initially claiming to offer base level training and more specialised support in case of specific issues, there was no training past the first onboarding meeting, and the agency was difficult to contact and very unresponsive when issues such as exploitative clients, dangerous working conditions, and poor living facilities were reported. Culture of deceit and intimidation - the administrative support offered when advertising the job never actually materialised. The agency said it was setting up applications for state benefit CAF support and would supplement employees' income to the level of a liveable wage until this additional funding was approved. The agency never actioned these applications, and only notified employees that this had not been done several months later. The agency then repeatedly resorted to harassment and intimidation to pressure employees to reimburse them. The agency also frequently threatened employees who voiced concerns to other nannies with legal action or termination.

Pros

They open a french bank account for you

Cons

They supply you with accommodation which is not at all worth the rent that they charge, in sub par conditions. Nannies are also taken advantage of as the agency provides the families with a set amount of hours the nanny has to do per month, which is far more than is possible to fill with simple after school hours and a full Wednesday, so nannies often have to babysit until early in the morning for free.
