Pros

- JOIN WITH AN EXIT STRATEGY IN PLACE - If you enjoy chaos, favoritism, and watching incompetence get rewarded, this is basically Disneyland. - Great place to learn how office politics matter more than actual skill or performance. - Management provides endless opportunities to practice patience, emotional restraint, and lowering expectations. - You’ll never have to worry about innovation disrupting the workplace culture. - Fantastic networking opportunities if you happen to be related to the right people or connected to leadership somehow. - Strong emphasis on race especially when it comes to who gets promoted.

Cons

- Toxic management culture driven by ego, favoritism, and poor communication. - Employees are treated as disposable while leadership avoids accountability. - Decisions often seem disconnected from reality or the actual needs of staff and clients. - Discriminatory and exclusionary behavior creates an uncomfortable environment for anyone outside the inner circle. - Hard work and competence frequently go unnoticed unless you’re politically aligned with management. - Little transparency, low morale, high turnover. - Company appears overly dependent on existing relationships and parent-company connections rather than building trust through capability or leadership.

Pros

High opportunities for career growth and promotions. Friendly and supportive work environment. The CEO is trusting and gives employees the freedom to learn, take ownership, and grow, even at a junior level.

Cons

No major concerns. As with any growing company, there can be busy periods. In my experience, the team and managers are open to discussing priorities, so the workload can usually be managed with good communication.
