Pros

You get to work alone and mostly at your own pace. Team leads can make or break it, and I was lucky enough to get a great team lead.

Cons

No consistency, lots of promises with little follow through. With new shipments, you never knew when to expect them. Some stores can be difficult to work with.

Pros

The people at Kroger and the flowers

Cons

My experience was that communication and management were inconsistent. Expectations about schedules, breaks, and daily responsibilities were not always clearly explained, which made it difficult to know what was expected. Work assignments and finish times often changed depending on deliveries, making it challenging to plan outside of work. Employees are expected to work independently across store locations, but support from management can be limited when questions or issues arise. Timekeeping should also be monitored carefully, as it is important to verify that hours worked match payroll records. Overall, I found the work environment stressful due to inconsistent communication, unclear expectations, and a lack of constructive support from supervisors.
