Pros

Good benefits package Pension offered (very rare these days)

Cons

CEO will say one thing, but then do the exact opposite. Claims he cares about staff, but then lays off over 100 people without attempting any other money saving measures. Most members of management were promoted based on politics, not on actual skill or knowledge in that department/field. Almost every team is highly understaffed, and even current staff are underpaid. Case Managers and UWs are overworked and micromanaged. Toxic culture of management pretending everything is rosy even though many lower level staff have raised flags that it is not Team members that do most of the heavy lifting are treated poorly and under appreciated Servant leadership tenets are referred to often but not actually applied and followed on a daily basis

Pros

Good pay, nice people to work with but as a consultant I feel a bit on the "outside".

Cons

Every single person that is an Executive Vice President is a man with the only woman being the CEO's Executive Assistant. Clearly you can see there is a distinct "known" here at this company.

We recognize that diversity has historically been an issue in our industry. However, if you look at our corporate board, we're actively working to diversify and will continue to make sure we consider all aspects. We will always focus on adding the most qualified talent to all of our roles across the entire organization. If you would like to connect further regarding this, I would welcome the opportunity to talk. - Michael Veilleux, Chief People Officer
