Pros
NSC employees are passionate about the mission. New CEO seems to genuinely care about improving morale of overworked and burnt out employees.
Cons
High level of burn out. Lots of employees were hired to do one thing, only to show up to work and be told the position has more requirements that are outside their area of expertise. It takes forever to fill vacant positions, leaving others to fill the gap for months. There is a lot of animosity from the revenue generating departments towards the advocacy side. very little attention given to individual career pathing.
