It’s really disappointing how this place is literally crashing and burning week after week. People are quitting from every department particularly engineering which is the bread and butter of the company. Some have been here for years where others only a few months quit after they just can’t take it anymore. Leadership is absolutely out of control and appears to be in complete panic mode - it shows in their rants and constant changes. None of their directions make sense especially when they yell it to employees. It’s really sad to watch. Such great potential for a product that has been ground down to a sweat shop of mistakes and redos. Just in a couple of years this company has dwindled to a total mess.
And as far as how they treat employees during COVID is negligible at best. They have some safety in place but demand you come in the office. The CEO wants to see people work.
You would think managers would be able to turn things around but the CEO doesn’t trust anyone other than himself or those he personally hand picked from Germany. He has less than a handful of trusted employees he keeps close by as “yes men OR women”. He’s made it clear people in Silicon Valley are spoiled and don’t deserve the salaries they ask for! No bonus retention can make me stay and others have already left.
