Pros
There are great perks, including free food and drinks. There are good people and you become friends easily with your colleagues. Resources associated with the job usally provided without much pushback as long as they are justified. Lots of responsibility which is good for learning. Freedom from micro-management.
Cons
Small company and in the downturn, deal flow could be sparse. Also, room for growth in terms of promotions are harder as there isn't room to expand or sometimes the budget. A smaller market bank, so even though it is 'known', it's still not a bulge bracket 'name'.
