Pros

Pretty good hours for retail. Pay is good compared to other retailers in area, but only if your in the right position. Prestigious company to work for, sells high end merchandise. Associates are nice, customers friendly.....sometimes.

Cons

No promotional opportunities, Health Insurance kinda stinks.....I expected it would be a lot better condsidering. Last Call is a Clearance store so you work in an outlet mall. Management in my store is horrible. At first training and developement was good, then some changes were made company-wide and positions got eliminated, some people lost their jobs, and others got thrown in positions that are no where near qualified. Its hard to learn from someone you already know more than and its hard to learn management skill from someone who possess none. Honestly, I think its a really good company to work for, if you have a good management team. If your in a store like mine.....you will be absolutely miserable.

Pros

* If you have an amazing team and management the day goes by fast. * Commission. * Easy to rely on foot traffic to meet goals. * If you ask for growth, they set thing ups that align with what you want, you just need to ask.

Cons

* If its slow, its SLOW. * There can be drama, it just depends on the department you're in.

Pros

good pay, good retired tech/fashion prop sales, hour long lunches

Cons

terrible work environment with whole bunch of eating disorder talk and projection at models (even from some management), management makes everyone stay until 4:30 even when all the minimum work requirement (and oftentimes more) is done, they will write you up for something extremely small then dismiss a big thing from another employee, terrible communication between managers therefore terrible communication to employees, employees get publicly ridiculed when they're just asking questions even amidst the terrible communication issues that are already there,
