Ability to build your own business, and the sense of accomplishment. You will have to do such with your own determination. You will get very little if any help in doing so. If you get a positive manager than you are good. If they are awful it is a real sludge. With the ever revolving door of managers you will have both.
Cons
The level of micro managing is intense. Even though it is a sales job, in an 8 hour shift, I have one hour of stock work, several emails and outreach to unknown clients with no financial gain involved, as well as several hour long training calls and meetings for programs they start only to drop it later. Alll of this time of the floor is unpaid!!! Since you are on straight commission. The level of inventory and access to product is challenging.
