Cons
As a current employee who is generally very happy with the company, it is disappointing to read through the harsh "cons" from some other reviews. It's pretty clear that NI is not for people who are adverse to change or who need to be given constant direction (or, frankly, who think an MBA or "big name" school on a resume should be a prerequisite for promotion to management). The culture values and recognizes hard work, innovation, and results. Plus, NI is part of a fast-paced industry that is constantly evolving, so of course things are going to change. That's what makes it exciting. I would be curious to know the former job experience of those who are bashing the company, particularly around experience with start-ups (yes, the nerd in me is asking for more data). Bottom line is this: yes, rapid growth leads to some things (such as formalized process) falling though the cracks, but senior management is making a concerted effort to catch up. Plus, the benefits of NI far outweigh the cons (see "pros" above).
