Pros

Savings lives, a DSA with a lot of potential, pay sucks but benefits are good

Cons

Although they claim to have great culture at this organization, the real culture is, “shut up or find a new job if you’re going to be grumpy” which comes directly from the CEO, who just happens to be under investigation by Congress. Management has told employees they should be grateful to be working here even though most people took a pay cut to work here simply bc the mission is positive. Current leadership in the organ department has zero OPO experience and is led by one of the most incompetent people to work here, which is sad considering NDN has a reputation for hiring unqualified leadership. Management in family services has blatantly screamed at employees and called them stupid. There isn’t currently any Tissue leadership to complain about bc they don’t have any leadership employed. Hospital Services is a joke and the only thing they excel at is pawning off their work onto other departments. Hospitals in this area HATE the clinical staff and HS purposely distances themselves from those conflicts. The organization constantly tries to force employees to engage in unethical behavior, up to and including faking DMV registries and then magically sorting it out once people threaten to expose them. Bullying is also very common within the organization, so common in fact that employees will openly discuss their plans to harass other employees and bc of the culture, it is tolerated. This company does not care about training and development. They were willing to get rid of those within the training department immediately simply bc they called out leadership for trying to force unethical rules on employees. Since then, training has turned into a flat out dumpster fire with no real change on the horizon. This company has also been known to stalk ex employees social media accounts to ensure no one is speaking out about how terrible it is. Untrained employees frequently approach families for donation. It is very rare that someone will be off of work in time. Work/life balance does not exist as there are constant department/all staff meetings weekly. Therapists have been called in to speak with employees bc there is so much drama and the leadership seems to love to be involved bc they too have no lives outside of work. Leadership will force employees to say positive things about each other and then claim they have a good working environment. False promises for promotions and raises are common. It is a daily conversation between employees wondering how this place hasn’t been shut down bc numbers are being faked and OPTN policies are constantly being violated. It would take days to list all of the things that are wrong with this organization, just stay away and don’t listen to the recruiters when they claim this is a great place to work.

Pros

Base Pay, experience growth, training opportunities

Cons

WAY overworked which leads to burnout and terrible work/life balance. The departments are small and the company chooses to cram more work on employees than hire more. Managers are very catty and do not care about front line needs. Cult mentality and will find a way to fire you if you don't fall in line. Their mission is a con while execs get major bonuses from the work their employees break their backs to do.
