Pros

Work from home positions. That's it.

Cons

New Directions came under new "leadership" in October 2020. Ever since its been nothing but downhill. Immediately we were informed that the company was operating in the red. This followed with mass layoffs (after realizing they made a mistake firing most of the customer service team they had to turn around and open the positions back up but people had to lose their jobs due to this mistake), hiring freezes, raises and bonuses cut. They changed the PTO system to make it extremely complicated and restrictive, all to save money. All during a pandemic. Employees live in fear that when they log on they will be told they've lost their job so most are looking for new jobs and quitting. Leadership seems to have absolutely no clue the direction the company should take. They have re-organized certain teams multiple times. Teams are so depleted at this point that the Executive Leadership Team is larger than most teams that are doing the actual day to day work. Despite all the cuts and hardships that employees have faced there has always been room in the budget for a new Chief, Senior VP, VP, Assistant VP, etc., and despite all of these new Execs there still has not been any new major business that they have brought in. They've moved the company into the black by depleting the workforce. Shana and the entire leadership should resign.

Pros

I always look forward to going to work at New Directions every morning. It’s a great remote job and has a career path. You definitely need to be a self starter and have the ability to navigate the computer and various platforms.

Cons

Pay is fairly moderate for what is expected of us to learn.

Pros

- Benefits were great. - Compensation - OK.

Cons

- They have horribly immature management all the way up to the CIO. - No clear direction on what the future of technology looks like for the company. - They have an overbearing CIO that most of the infrastructure team and management have major issues with. - Though there are great employees there, the talent is either suppressed by bad management decisions or is completely lacking on some teams. - Too much fighting between CIO and CISO that produces hostile work environment. - They can't keep good employees long enough. A majority of people quit within their first year. The networking team had two guys quit before they were there for 90 days and management just had to promote one of the only two network engineers left to keep him from leaving.
