Awful - Security Officer New Horizon Security Employee Review

All was good. Everyone was nice to answer questions about the company

New Horizon has a great group of employees, casual environment, and lots of growth.

The upper management at New Horizon is very disconnected from the guards and support staff. Communication is a serious problem and they do not have the infrastructure to continue getting large contracts. The pay is below average as are benefits. They will fire or make you reapply for your job pretty quickly if they feel things are not going their way. Employee retention is terrible because they make as low as $8.50/hr with no possibility of a raise if the guards stay at the same site. The supervisors are sometimes unreasonable and will go on a "power-trip" and fire people that they need to run sites effectively.
