Pros
Over the past 4 months at New Relic, my journey as a Technical Support Engineer has been incredibly rewarding—both professionally and personally. I came in hoping for a place that valued people, offered interesting challenges, and encouraged growth. Looking back now, the experience has gone beyond what I imagined. From day one, the culture stood out. It’s a space where people genuinely care, where feedback is constructive, and where you feel safe sharing ideas or concerns. There's a real sense of mutual respect, and communication is refreshingly open and honest. It’s not just talk—people follow through, listen with intent, and make meaningful changes where needed. One of the highlights has been the chance to dive deep into unique and evolving technologies while supporting customers across a wide range of use cases. Every day brings something new, and working closely with such a skilled and collaborative team makes it all the more exciting. There’s a strong learning curve, but also a strong support system to match it. What’s made a huge difference for me personally is the leadership. The support from my manager has been phenomenal—always approachable, understanding, and genuinely invested in my growth. The India TA leadership also deserves a special mention for building a people-first culture rooted in empathy, clear communication, and strong teamwork. That kind of leadership creates a ripple effect—people feel seen, supported, and empowered. Working in GTS puts you right at the intersection of technical depth and customer impact. It’s fast-paced and challenging, but also deeply satisfying. There’s a strong sense of camaraderie here; knowledge-sharing is natural, and helping each other out is second nature. It’s the kind of environment that makes you look forward to work and keeps you growing in the right direction. If you're considering New Relic, know this: the values they speak about aren’t just words—they show up in how people treat each other every day. From work-life balance to growth opportunities, to the open lines of communication with leadership, it’s a place that truly invests in its people.
Cons
It’s genuinely challenging to find any major drawbacks in my experience at New Relic. The culture is deeply rooted in trust, support, and open communication, creating an environment where people feel heard, respected, and empowered. Work-life balance is not only encouraged but actively supported, and leadership remains approachable and responsive. That consistent alignment between values and day-to-day experience makes it a place where you can truly thrive.
