Interning at the New Yorker was a wonderful experience. My boss and fellow intern were great. I was given adequate training and a reasonable amount of responsibility. Highlights included working on special features for the website, speaking with artists, and reading slush cartoons.
Cons
Some of the work was pretty repetitive and mind numbing, but someone's got to it! Hopefully, this will decrease as they improve the digital database.
