      Pros

      I hired on at newmont and the culture was amazing. At my site they had introduced amazing technology and advancements in the underground mining industry. The pay, pension, and benefits were great. I now work for the joint venture. Management and culture has suffered very little.

      Location is really quite secluded.

      Generally good people. Pay and benefits are decent

      Cons

      Management keeps taking away employee perks and seems to only want to hoard more of the wealth, Record gold prices yet we continue to have cuts and had multiple waves of layoffs... disgusting. No upward mobility
