Pros
Join unless you have no choice. Full of politics. Nisum does not have a good reputation. Hire and Fire policy. worst working culture. Be ready to work more than 14 to 16 hours daily and also be ready for the micromanagement. Doest not value the employees Lot of firing since the pandemic and will continue further. Notice period policy is worst.
Cons
This is my personal experience and I am writing this because to help others to not to face the situation I faced. In my experience, I have never seen a company like Nisum and would not want to see it in the future. Firing is common and many employees lost jobs. As long as you are in a project you have no issues but the moment you are out of the project, be ready for the 'Pink slip'. I have worked for more than 5 years and when I was rolled off from the project had a meeting with the HR team. First, they blamed me for my attitude and other things ( which is ok when i am giving the billing to the company). If you are billable and do anything in the company it's all fine. Because Nisum wants money. They asked me to put in 'Resignation' and told me I will not get the notice period. If I put in a resignation mail, then they will simply accept and process the F&F. But I will not get the 2 months of notice period pay. I have refused and fought with the company, they tried to threaten me with the so-called 'Displainery' actions. This is how they play with you even in this pandemic times, people in nisum do not have basic professional ethics. I told them, I would take 'Legal' action against the company in case they do not give the 'Notice period'. All of sudden, they have agreed to give the notice period pay. ( Moral is 'Be the Bully for the Bullies) But the notice period pay is different in Nisum. Normally, in any company, if the company decides to roll off an employee then the Employer would give the Noticeperiod pay on the day they roll-off. So its advance pay. so If I lost the job and my notice period is 3 months then I would get the 3 months advance payment on my last working day. This money will help the people who lost the job to find a new job since it's a lumpsum amount. In Nisum, it's all different. First, they will tell you the decision and will threaten you put in the resignation email, though it's their decision. If you are strong like me then you would not bend yourself and would fight with them. Otherwise, I don't need to say. If you are strong, management will agree with you. Now, they will take the laptops back and inactive your account. They will ask you not to come to the office and they will pay the salary as per the NP policy. If you get another job in 5 or 10 days and if you inform them, then your F&F will be processed till then day. So you would lose the advance NP pay in this case. This is how they will cheat people.
