Pros
I really enjoy working for Noblis. The people are smart and well-educated. I feel like my advanced degrees have meaning. There are a lot of attempts at communication and improving the company. It feels good to work for a non-profit and to work "in the public interest." The company makes giant contributions to our retirement.
Cons
There has been a lot of emphasis on our last employee survey--but the questions were hugely skewed such that our answers would be positive. It is a little difficult to learn what is happening in other parts of the company. Compensation and advancement is not as transparent as one would like--even among my Division there are glaring differences among comparable staff.
