Pros

* Very well stocked kitchen. * Excellent HR. * Good initial salary package. * Ordering books was never a problem. * Interesting subject (Mathematics + diverse customer's domain)

Cons

* Dominant ceo attitude. * When push came to shove the direct manager didn't take the employee's defense against the ceo's excesses. Unfortunately, nor did HR. * Company ethics based on favoritism. * No salary raise. There was always a reason not to. * Mediocre coding discipline. * No long-term career possibilities.

Pros

Fresh fruit every Monday, good coffee machine

Cons

The Company is in a bad shape to say the least: it recently changed CEO, but sadly this should have happened four years ago. During that period, the turnover rate skyrocketed up to 60% , due to an obtuse attitude from upper management: the Company's product slowly slid behind its competitors in terms of technologies and features, due to a culture that didn't foster education and didn't try be up to date with industry proven methodologies and frameworks: "we've been doing things this way for 15 years" was the usual reply. If you're software engineer, joining Noesis will hurt your expertise and knowledge. If you're a sales guy, you'll find hard to land a successful deal with customers

Pros

Good cookies and excellent coffee are available in the kitchen. Flexible hours

Cons

The company develops a niche software product which struggles to keep up with the competitions. The company has nothing to offer in terms of personal growth. Employees are not stimulated in bringing new skills into the company but forced to use old procedures and technologies. The decision making process is unclear and the organization of the development team is really cumbersome. The turn over is very high, especially in the development group. Low salary and expect to work overtime with no extra compensation.
