Nordcloud and IBM see strong collaboration, working with the largest organisations in the UK, as the most effective way to grow both businesses fast in the cloud market. This approach has proven successful in driving substantial growth so far.
That said, Nordcloud still has its own customers and a direct to market channel. IBM have made commitments to Nordcloud that they see Nordcloud as their home for technical cloud talent and have asked us to continue to hire and grow in this area.
Whilst the attrition in the UK remains low we have had to make some tough decisions with restructures and redundancies, moving focus from areas we have seen less demand, towards areas we see rapid growth in demand. We understand that this is an unfortunate part of the changes in the market. Redundancy is hard for all involved and will always be the last resort
The culture that the Leadership Team have tried to foster at Nordcloud is one where the discussions are open - both with good news and on occasion bad. We are aware that the UK have tried to keep regular dialogue with all involved via regular weekly, monthly and quarterly all hands sessions, inviting feedback via comments and polls on direction etc.
