Cons
- not experienced management and team leading. - poor communication between the clients and dev management. - some projects have extremely high attrition in both offshore/onshore locations. - you'd work for one project until it finished up even if it's long-running one (3+ years). - no opportunity for grow if you're not junior developer. There is no need for senior developers there as onshore teams are doing mostly support work. - in your team is split between onshore/offshore they'll expect you to work from 7 a.m to 7p.m. - layoffs are happening if funding stopped from the customer's company - in fact transfers between projects are very unlikely. - no trust between clients and dev teams. - no bonuses
