Pros

Flexible hours, decent pay, decent benefits, great staff and faculty. decent opportunity to work in tech spaces in Maine as a growing hub of start-ups and entrepreneurs.

Cons

Not a great company to work for as a woman or person of color, stemming from executive leadership. Poor hiring choices made with major red-flag conflicts of interest that promote the benefit of executive leadership. A really damaging top-down approach and disrespectful of women in the workplace. Scheduling meetings times outside of office hours, loading work onto women's plates which further puts women at a disadvantage in the tech space. Appalling misconduct and lack of accountability from executive leadership. Taking credit for successful work of women and people of color without noting the accomplishments of the team that conducted the work. Highly unethical and toxic work environment. Several mass exoduses over 1-2 years with unpromising results.

Pros

Very friendly staff and easy to follow their structure. Tours are very fun to do and have clear guidance for speaking beats and directions. Great way to meet other students and to feel appreciated by visitors!

Cons

Occasionally you will get parents or groups that give you a hard time (ie. middle schoolers), and sometimes you have to do back to back tours if there are few people that day which can be a little much, but all of which is hardly the case.
