Pros

Great team members over the years. Management is typical of any large healthcare system. Benefits are good. The 403. B match is low but the pension levels that out.

Cons

Northside has a lot of redundant paperwork. Staffing challenges as with everywhere.

Student nurse extern

-some of the nurses on the floor were nice -gets your foot in the door with a hospital as a student -supportive management on the floor i was hired on

Cons

-low pay for what you put up with -was mainly working as a patient care tech as opposed to a nurse extern -nurses on the med/surg floors weren’t very nice and willing to help -don’t feel like i got enough training -the pre shift anxiety was horrendous
