      I have worked at NSH for over 20 years because of the wonderful family-like culture, clinical excellence, and the professional growth and development opportunities that have been given to me. My path is the result of some amazing leaders and mentors that I've had the blessing to work with. I highly recommend Northside.

      Pros

      -some of the nurses on the floor were nice -gets your foot in the door with a hospital as a student -supportive management on the floor i was hired on

      Cons

      -low pay for what you put up with -was mainly working as a patient care tech as opposed to a nurse extern -nurses on the med/surg floors weren’t very nice and willing to help -don’t feel like i got enough training -the pre shift anxiety was horrendous
