Pros

Some cool people, you get to attend fun events, and the ability to work from home sometimes.

Cons

The two co-founders and creatively brilliant, yet delusional and terrible business people who don't care about their employees. They pay everyone terribly (I just saw a job posting that they are looking for an Account Executive with 2 years sales experience who will accept under $35k salary - what?!), their benefits are TERRIBLE, and there is no room for growth, and they exploit the poor people who intern there. You gain nothing from working here.

Thanks for the positive review. It's been a crazy 24 months, through the acquisition from being a family-operated company to being part of a larger transition; then the bumps that came along with that new relationship; and then the re-acquisition of the company. Now that we're independently owned again, there are new challenges, but confident that we will get through these and make Northside a truly employee-first company, which is our utmost goal in this new iteration of the company. Thank you for the supportive review!

Pros

Amazing young, talented and intelligent people, passionate about what they do and willing to go the extra mile to get it done. Properties have infinite potential. Made some of my best friends for life here. Lots of autonomy to do your job in the way you want to if you assert yourself.

Cons

Upper "management" has zero leadership skills, overworks and undervalues employees, high turnover, absolutely no work life balance. Expect to work 24/7 while making slave wages with no support whatsoever, and if you do well your superiors will pat themselves on the back, if you make a single error you'll be crucified. No system of checks and balances for anything. Completely disorganized start up in denial run entirely by children with no room for growth whatsoever and no mentorship from senior staff, in fact the younger people consistently have better ideas and a better grasp of the industry, and they more often than not ignored versus nurtured.
