Pros

Half off cakes twice a month.

Cons

So whatever you do stay away from this place, they seem nice and sweet at first but things go for a turn when you start working there for 1-2 months. Angry emails were the only things management were sending, once or twice was a positive email ever sent about the workers. We bust our tails off, staying back late to do other people's task, just to be constantly criticized about things we can't change. It may seem all fun and nice but chaos is what goes on behind closed doors. If you ever want more work hours good luck, I worked 3 hours everyday and during my spring break I asked for more hours and was told "we already have people to work in the morning". My paychecks showed that I worked very little hours, there is just no place to ever advance up and get a raise. If you like spending holidays with your family, think again! They will make everyone come in to work long hours during the holidays. Frosters stand up for hours on end doing the same repetitive motion. This constant wear and tear on your body causes medical problems like carpal tunnel syndrome. The job is not easy and not worth the pay; I would wake up with numb hands and have to take medicine to ease the pain. Let's not forget that everyone is underpaid, well at least the frosters because I knew a few GSRS who got paid more for just standing around all day. This place is horrible and their cakes are overrated. P.S. they lie to customers and say their cakes are made fresh daily, when they're clearly not.

Pros

Flexible schedule as long as GMs are willi no to work closely with you to make sure you are scheduled what you want. They work oppsitie/similad hours as long as you both are scheduled over 40 hours.

Cons

HR is unresponsive, they forget to send you your offer letter that explains PTO, sick days, etc. District managers get away with doing the bare minimum and not training you properly to manager an entire bakery alone. Firing GMs for not meeting sales goals which can be out of your control. Executive leadership refuses to communicate with bakery management. Lots of situations that you are not prepared/trained for. They expect management to work full 45+ hour weeks and do most of the job duties that regular staff would do so that labor does not exceed sales. Stuck having to explain why employees are lacking hours/can't pick up extra hours/shifts.
