Cons
Nova business model has been heavily reliant on cooperation of HMRC to issue EIS & SEIS certificates. Unfortunately, blockages in this process have resulted in mass redundancies (50% or more) on at least 2 occasions, with staff told they no longer have jobs effective immediately. This is awful for those losing their jobs and thoroughly demoralizing for the remaining employees. Also, salaries are below market standard for the role and level of responsibility required.
