Pros

Really good team work and knowledge sharing. The engineering team is really strong and we are able to learn a lot. The office is in a great location with a view of the bay.

Cons

Little down time since we are busy all the time.

Pros

I've been here over 4 years and both the company and many of my co employees have experienced significant growth. I have learned so much about what everyone in the company does to the point where I can step into almost any role and make a positive contribution. I have seen people start at the company right out of college and three years later their salary is over 3 times what it was when they started and their job has a significant impact on company operations. The people that move up do work hard as taking care of our customers is the primary role of everyone in the company. Great place to get alot of experience and be rewarded for hard work. Full benefits plus 3 week paid sabbatical after 5 years.

Cons

I have also seen a few people that start with the company and for whatever reason just can't seem to find their place. If you read the negative reviews after this one, it is easy to identify those people. People do need to work hard and work smart to stay with the company and for people that are not willing or not able to work hard or to learn new things, this probably isn't the place for you. It is easy to blame management or someone other than yourself when things don't work out, (especially in an anonymous forum), rather than trying to understand why there was a difference between expectations and performance.

Pros

- Casual dress - Good communication among the technicians - Solid focus on pleasing the customer - Compensation can be good, however (*see below under advice*) - COO is trying to improve company culture - The company, I believe, will continue to grow over the next year or so due to market position

Cons

- Poor work/life balance: if you work a 70 hour work week and take two hours off the following Monday morning... expect to take PTO hours. You may or may not get a thank you. - Numerous highly unprofessional experiences with the CEO - CEO burns bridges with, what should be, valuable strategic partnerships - Sr Management lacks deep technical knowledge, or at least, a respect for the complexity of quality IT solutions. As a result, expectations for service delivery are unrealistic both financially and practically. - Lack of process and best practices over the years has resulted in an infrastructure that needs a tremendous amount of improvement; this was ignored by the CEO until critical outages proved otherwise. - Often unable to implement simple changes to improve process and efficiency simply because management didn't want to 'change' (regardless of how cumbersome and inefficient)
