Cult like workplace, they start orientation by telling you all about the company history, and how you are all one big happy family, you have to know the mission statement by heart or else you are shamed, they had me give a presentation on a random item from the store where I had to sell it to the rest of the room, if you are socially awkward or introverted this company will make you want to crawl into a small hole and then they will pull you out of it and force you into activities again, no such thing as just showing up for a paycheck, this is your new dysfunctional toxic family now. The management is a joke, its so obviously a game of favoritism, you can be absolutely horrible at your job as long as your good at sucking up or cooing at baby photos... also if your a woman, just be aware of how often you will be put in uncomfortable situations like unwanted touching or creepy comments by certain associates... it happened so often in my 6 years of employment and not once was it actually handled by management to where it didnt happen again... Lastly you can never be sure you'll get full time, if your not one of the favorites? Hours will be cut and given to those management likes talking to the most. Call out because your actually sick too often? Your hours will be cut for the next month or two, maybe more. You just need to remember that this is just a job for a paycheck, and not a good enough paycheck where you could ever support yourself, if you do get a job here, start looking for a better paying career job as soon as you can and get out fast.
